Ontem assisti a um memorável concerto dos Waterboys no Hipódromo Manuel Possolo em Cascais! Um dos amigos que me acompanhava estava muito céptico, quase como querendo ir embora, mas repeti-lhe por diversas vezes, os Waterboys são muito bons. Na realidade, apesar de estar convicto que ia assistir a um grande concerto, superou as minhas melhores expectativas! Sorri (sabem aqueles sorrisos espontâneos e duradouros?!), dancei e cantei... muito! E os meus amigos estavam igualmente sorridentes e satisfeitos, incluindo o mais céptico, que estava como eu, eufórico! A banda foi toda ela fantástica, a começar com o Mike Scott e a acabar no violinista Steve Wickham! As obrigatórias "Don't Bang the Drum", " The Whole of the Moon", "Fisherman's Blues" e uma versão fantástica do "Pan Within", que aqui vos deixo numa versão aproximada, da ouvida nesta grande noite! Consegui ainda o meu "prize" dos concertos que gosto: a set list e a palheta da guitarra do Mike Scott! Que regressem em breve... Lá estarei de certeza! Intemporais...
